A cruise dress code can be tricky - especially when you've special events in addition to theme nights! While onboard the Good News Cruise, one of the most important items to remember is that you're on vacation so comfort is key. However, there are a few events and areas of the ship where dressing up is part of the fun!
Casual Dress is the preferred attire for most guests during the day and on excursions when at port. However, during the evening you might like to elevate your look for date night at a specialty restaurant or cocktail lounge!
We've included some guidelines below for each type of attire and if a specific dress code is required for one of our events, we'll make a note in the forthcoming itinerary.
Casual: Khakis, polos, sundresses, and blouses are casual but smart options for our events and excursions. In the Main Dining Hall, shorts are welcomed for breakfast and lunch.
Smart Casual: Think of this as a step up from your typical dinner wear. Dress to impress with collared shirts, dresses, skirts, and blouses, or pantsuits. Jackets, sports coats and blazers are also welcomed.
